SeharBazaar is a platform for legitimate local businesses. This policy defines what is and is not permitted on the platform. Violations may result in listing removal or account suspension.
✅ What is allowed
- Retail products — clothing, electronics, furniture, stationery, hardware, and general goods
- Food and grocery products from licensed food businesses
- Over-the-counter medicines and health products listed for inquiry only (not direct sale)
- Medical equipment and devices (BP monitors, glucometers, thermometers, etc.)
- Ayurvedic, herbal, and wellness products with accurate descriptions
- Beauty and personal care products
- Agricultural products, seeds, and farming supplies
- Repair and service businesses (tailors, electricians, mechanics, etc.)
⚠️ Allowed with conditions
- Prescription medicines — only if your business is a licensed pharmacy. Contact us to get verified.
- Medical services — doctors and clinics may list but must not make diagnostic or treatment claims.
- Food businesses — must comply with FSSAI licensing requirements.
- Products with health benefits — claims must be accurate and not misleading.
❌ What is not allowed
- Tobacco, cigarettes, bidi, gutka, paan masala, hookah, and all tobacco products
- E-cigarettes and vaping products
- Alcohol and liquor
- Prescription medicines without pharmacy verification
- Counterfeit, fake, or replica branded goods
- Adult or sexually explicit content of any kind
- Products making false or unverified medical claims
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
- Pirated software, media, or digital content
- Illegal services or products of any kind under Indian law
📸 Image and media policy
- Only upload images you own or have rights to use
- Product images must accurately represent the listed product
- Do not use watermarked stock photos or competitor images
- Images must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content
📋 Listing accuracy
- All business information (name, address, phone) must be accurate
- Prices must reflect actual selling prices
- Stock availability must be kept up to date
- Do not impersonate other businesses or use misleading names
🚨 Enforcement
- Listings that violate this policy will be removed without notice
- Repeat violations will result in account suspension
- We reserve the right to reject any listing at our discretion
